First off, I want to thank everyone for the wonderful comments on the Lost Child Reliquary.  That was a really hard piece to do for many reasons.  It's been kinda hard for me to show it, too.  It's not that I'm not proud of the piece, it's that I was worried about how women who'd lost children would feel about it.  I understand loss in a general way because I've experienced it many, many times.  But understanding it in general doesn't alwways mean that I'd undrestand the specifics.  Maybe this wasn't my story to tell since it didn't happen to me.  But the comments here proved that I succeeded in getting my idea & feeling across.  Thank you.

It's been a crazy summer.  Not alot of art got done but I did move half a block from campus-- just in time for gas prices to go through the roof.  I'm glad- I was driving over 40 miles a day commuting from my Mom's place to school. I'm in my last year at Edinoro now.  This semester I have two sections of Metals & one of Printmaking.  I'm learning how to silkscreen.  I'll be making goofy t-shirts at some point. :-D Still have to get a bunch of photos up of stuff I did last spring.  I'm such a slacker.  :-P
